My New Dog

As usual, the work days are slowly dragging by while the weekends zoom by.  Last weekend I took the boy and his friend to see Despicable Me 2.  It was good but too expensive and crowded.  We had to sit in the second row and look up the whole time.  I think the last movie that I saw was Tangled around 3 years ago.  I usually don't go unless there are children involved.  Next weekend we are going to see Pacific Rim, well, the boys are, I hope to see the Lone Ranger if it is showing at the same time.  My nephew will only be here for two more weekends so I am trying to keep my time open so that we can do things together.

I went ahead and adopted my chiweenie foster dog.  I was tired of going to adoption events.  He is not friendly with most strangers and the few people that he is friendly with didn't want him.  It's been over a year since I have had him and I want to take a break with the fostering.  I asked the rescue to clean his teeth first because he should have had that done anyway.  I only had to pay for the $65 cleaning instead of the $150 adoption fee so that was nice.  He is small and doesn't take up much room so he isn't really much trouble at all.  Next time I foster I will try the Humane Society so that I can bring the dogs back to the shelter for adoption.  That will be especially helpful with puppies because I had to wait until they were 13 weeks old with the rescue but I think they could be adopted at 8 weeks through the shelter.  That is something I will look in to once I finish some other chores, like getting rid of half of my stuff.

All change again the Daizy household. I think you are right. Must be better for the brothers to be together and to have some consistency. Wont be easy but what is.

I am confident that his grandma will make this arrangement work. The school sounds better too. I just hope he makes some good friends. Even 1 friend!
