What a busy day. I asked my realtor if she had time to go see houses this weekend and she said how about after work today. That was fine with me since that was one less thing to do on Sunday. I rushed over to that side of town after work and we looked at one house that was ok. The backyard was pretty good. It had a Chinaberry tree. I need to find out if those are poisonous to dogs. It was a big tree. Removing it would require professionals....oh darn...I just looked it up. All parts of the tree are poisonous to dogs. So much for that house. It was too expensive anyway.
The second house had an offer already but we looked at it anyway. It seems the unknown smell was pet pee. And it was the tile that reeked, well, I suppose it was the grout but still, that was horrible.
So, no good houses today. I'll just have to be patient.
You're fortunate to have a good agent! I traveled to Tampa to look at houses and it was so hard to get someone to show me houses. You'd think in a place that's been hit as hard as Tampa has that the agents would fall all over you trying to win your business. Maybe you could give your agent a little thank you gift next time you see houses to let them know how great they are.
She has been a good sport although I can tell most of these houses are not the kind she would willingly go in to especially the stinky ones.
