A storm just rolled through. Thunder and lightning and some blowing rain but I doubt I collected any significant water. It's all quiet now. More rain in the forecast though. I bet I will get a lot on Monday.
My first stop today was to look at that manufactured home for sale through a friend of a friend. The outside was a typical manufactured home with a deck. The inside was nice. The only way I would buy it is if my parents decided to move here and needed a place. My dogs would be too rough on it.
They are asking $38k and open to offers as they are getting desperate. They are building their own home on the property and the city will charge them another $15k in permit fees to keep the MH as a guest house so they need it gone.

My neighbors have a MH with a porch and they made their driveway level with the front of the porch so that they don't need stairs. I think that is a great idea. The window coverings and appliances are included and even the big screen TV goes with it.
So, Mom, am I tempting you yet? Come on down! I have more pictures if you want to see more.

It is lovely, Daizy. How much would it cost to have it moved and set up?
It's $4,000 for moving and set up. I'd need a $4,000 septic system and I don't know how much it would cost to bring electricity to the site.
Damn that is cheap (come on, mum). But the dogs would chew it up in months. Maybe live in it with just the cat and the dogs get their own run and building??
I was thinking that too Lizzie! But the cost would keep me stuck to my job for another 3 years and I am not sure if I want to do that. I could build the garage off the kitchen for the dogs and hook up heating and cooling for them. It would be a doggy playland. What I can't figure out is what I would do with the rest of the house. I mean, the laundry room, kitchen and master bedroom with bath would be perfect. That leaves the dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for the cat. Maybe I should get a roommate?
Hi sweetheart!
It looks beautiful dear, I'll show it to dad and see what his comments are.
