First there was the water delivery turn downs. I still haven't decided what I want to do about that. Then there was the bank frustrations and waiting for the mailman to deliver my check for the mortgage. I know it will get paid off eventually but, I don't know, I thought the end would be more....well...final. Then today I got a phone call from the lady in charge of the dog rescue. My new dog, the Westie, died at the vet's office after she was spayed. I know I only had her for four days but she was one of those dogs that just makes you fall in love with them instantly. She was so happy and cuddly and goofy and I was really looking forward to getting her back home today. It was so sad to hear that she was gone. I spent most of the day hiding my tears from my coworkers.
Well, the week is over and hopefully the weekend will be much brighter.

Daizy-- Too bad for the hassles on the week you have worked so hard and waited so long for. Even though the loan pay off feels blah, now, you will, of course, have forever to feel pride in your accomplishment.
So sorry about the little terrier. She was unlucky to be in the pound, and then unlucky with the surgery, but so lucky to spend some time as a lovable little dog at your place.
Hi
She looks adorable, very sorry you lost her.
The minor irritations will evaporate honest.I think it is weird how old fashioned you banking system is. I like the online banking scenario. I have control but what i like nest is the transparency and instantness. I always asssumed your banking system would be streets a head of ours, not queuing for checques etc.
haha, spell checker doesnt like my English word for cheques. Lol
I'm sorry... those pets have the power to break our hearts, I know that for a fact. :o(
Dogs are such noble creatures. It's always sad when one of them leaves us behind.
I wish I could give you a hug. I'm so sorry and sad to read the heart-breaking news about the adorable little Westie.
Sending you sympathy and hope that things improve.

I'm so sorry about thee Westie, Daizy. It's wonderful what you do for all those dogs.
So very sorry to hear about your Westie. She looks adorable. You did everything you could for her. I wish you peace.
Thanks all. I went back to the pound today to turn in some paperwork and the smells and sounds reminded me of my Westie. I've had 60 foster dogs but for some reason I was reminded of her. At least she didn't die at the pound. I didn't get a new dog, even though I wanted to. I still have 5 that need homes so I should try a little harder for them.
Here I am 'a day late and a dollar short' (always!) But I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your little foster doggie. RIP, Westie.

Hey sis, you know I'd cry too if anything happened to my little one. Sorry I didn't hear sooner. (((hugs)))
