Thinking Cool

It is too hot. Outside it was 100F when I got home this evening. Inside it was 90F. I checked out the Home Depot website again and used the store availability button to search for air conditioners and, you guessed it, all sold out. There were 4 evaporative coolers in the model that I wanted but not at the store I was planning to go to on Saturday. I thought about running over to that store at lunch but then the cooler had free shipping so I thought I would just order it and the air conditioner online. I'll have to wait a few days for it to show up but at least I know it is coming and I saved myself the frustration of running around town and ending up empty handed.

In the mail today there was a pool supply catalog. I was looking at it and wanting everything. It's just too hot to even stand outside. Maybe I will use some of my precious water and fill up the kiddie pool for the dogs on Sunday. I hope they don't jump in the pool and then roll in the dirt but they are dogs and they would probably think that was a lot of fun.
