The weather was wonderful today although I didn't have a lot of time to sit down and enjoy it. I managed to get 2 loads of laundry done but was consequentially late for the adoption event. I always seem to underestimate the time it takes to get 3 crates and 3 dogs in the truck. Nobody got adopted but they got a lot of attention. I brought my newest dog along because she had a vet appointment. Although she was going to be put to sleep to put her out of her misery because she was sooo sick last night, the vet said she was fine today. I brought her inside to the adoption event for a little while and a lady there fell in love with her and wanted to adopt her. She won't be available for a few weeks until she is spayed but it was nice to see that she was very popular. The lady gave me her card so I could tell her when she is available. I hope she still wants her then but if not, I am sure she will find a home quickly.
I got my new power cord for my netbook. So far so good. It is shorter than the original cord but for $6 I think I can live with that.
