Making Plans

I caught myself admiring an SUV on the road today. I would like something that will make transporting dogs a little easier. The problem is that SUVs get low gas mileage just like my truck...at least the SUVs that I can afford. I was looking on craig's list for a nice used one, maybe 2002 for under $5k with double doors in the back instead of the single door that opens up. If I was going to have my mortgage paid off this month then I could see looking at SUVs but I have at least 4 months to go. No use drooling over vehicles that I can't have yet. I looked at mini vans too but with my rocky dirt road clearance is an issue. Of course a new ride is not urgent. My truck works fine and 2/3rds of the year I can put the dogs in the crate in the back of my truck.

I can't even decide what I want to do first after the mortgage is gone...fences, repairs, replace the truck, save for a well-share with the neighbor? You don't even want to hear about the crazy ideas I was thinking up for the dogs...buying another shed, putting it against the mobile home so I could heat it so that I could put dogs who don't get along in there. I also want to build a big enclosed porch and while I am at it I might as well build a whole house too! I have lots of dreams and plans and I can either take out a big loan and do them all at once which would make me tied to a full time job for another 20 years. Or be patient and use my time to clean out the spare room, shed and RV like I am supposed to be doing. Now would be a good time for that with people buying gifts.

wow, stop stop. No buying until you have your freedom. Come on with the de-cluttering instead, Nearly there, you can do it.

It's fun to daydream about what you will do once the mortgage is gone! Soon it will be. :)

Lizzie, the buying is so easy and the de-cluttering is not. At least the de-cluttering might bring in a little cash. They buying just sucks the money away.
