I was hoping there would be less tension between the dogs with one dog gone but no. Now they have to rearrange the pack. I have to find my newest dog a new foster home because my big foster dog doesn't like him. I'm sure it is because the new guy isn't neutered yet. I am seriously considering going to another adoption event and bringing my big trouble maker. If he gets adopted it would be worth giving up my whole weekend for the dogs. If he didn't get adopted then, ugh, I want my weekend back.

Good luck, you can do it. There is always another weekend!

Your dedication to fostering, loving, providing your time, resources and money to the cause of saving abandoned, unwanted and abused animals goes right to my heart. We have adopted 10 rescue dogs and I would not take a million dollars for any of them. It takes a special person to do what you do. I wish more people would do it.

Lizzie, I've been waiting and waiting for a cooler weekend and then when one finally arrives I'm not home! Well, I wouldn't have been able to get much done with all of those dogs underfoot anyway.
Wow, Kim A, 10? All at once or over the years? I find the hardest part is getting mine to all get along. The rest is challenging and keeps me busy...and I watch a lot less TV!
