My tenant was not able to start working full time right away but did start last week and is now trying to get extra shifts to make more money. That means I agreed to wait for the next paycheck. In the mean time, I made my extra payment of $636, bringing the mortgage total to $16,590. At least it is still going down even if it is slower than previously planned. I believe I have seven more months to go since I had to add some months to make my plan more realistic.

Great progress Daizy! I'm really struggling to stick to my budget at the moment, I need to give myself a kick!
Ugh, again with the tenant paying your rent late. When is the last time you got your rent on time? :(
Thanks laura. I'm not doing as well as I had planned but some progress is better than no progress.
Dave, I think the last on time payment was April.
How many people does your tenant have to support?
Anonymous, she has two kids. She graduated as a practical nurse only a year and a half ago so she is still at the bottom of the ranks as far as wages go.
