I never realised how expensive plumbing supplies are. Another $50 worth and I still don't have all of the right pieces. I need to exchange 2 supply lines because they are 1/2" to 3/4" instead of 3/4" to 3/4". Even though the pipe is 1/2", the connector switches to 3/4". Then there is the drain which is driving me crazy. I think I might be able to modify what I bought and shorten it because there is not a lot of room under the sink. If it doesn't work then I will have ruined another $8 component. I switched out the bathroom sink top and started to hook up the kitchen sink but had to stop because it is getting late and I am getting frustrated. It will have to wait until next weekend.
I spent most of the day doing laundry, moving water around so that there is more room in my collection tanks for the rain that is supposed to show up later this week, and shuttling a dog around. Everything got accomplished except for hooking up my sink. One last thing to do is think of something for lunch this week. I cooked a bunch of chicken so maybe chicken salad, chicken nachos, or chicken burritos. I know one thing, if I don't put something together tonight I'm going to be eating plain chicken. I am terribly slow in the morning...especially cold Monday mornings.

no wonder plumbers are so expensive to hire. when I watch those home improvement jobs on TV, they make it look so easy. It probably takes them a whole week to do what they edit into a 30 minute show.
good luck with it next weekend. you are almost there!
Oh I know...and I am sure they have every kind of connector available. I don't even know most of them exist let alone how they work.
