Snow Country

I imagine that title would be better with a picture but I'm trying to type this with my sleeping 4 week old niece on my lap so running to the basement to find my photo-transfer card is too much trouble. I have to grab a few free minutes while I can. There isn't a lot of snow but there is a few inches which is a lot more than I have in Arizona.

Yesterday after they picked me up from the airport we went over to Target for a $20 per kid shopping spree. They roamed the aisles and added up their totals and piled their loot in my cart. I should do that every year. It's so much easier. I know they want what they got because they picked it out. I will wrap it and put it under the tree so they will have more gifts to open.

For now my mobile home chores and projects are so far away. I don't have to think about them at all. I have plenty to keep me occupied, crafts, cooking, laundry...I think I'm on my 5th load. 8 kids make a lot of laundry. The only thing I miss of my Arizona life is my dog...and maybe the warm weather! But I will enjoy the cold while I'm here.

I'd rather see a pic of the 4 week old niece than the snow.

Enjoy your visit. Do you miss your kitty too?

I do miss kitty. I had to leave her since she hates travel but someone's looking in on her and I'm sure she appreciates her dog-free week.
