I bought too many gifts as usual but soon the birthdays will begin and I'm sure I will find the extra gifts a home. I haven't added up the cost yet. I like to relax for a little while and appreciate the fact that I'm finished shopping. I put some extra money in my budget for Christmas. Hopefully I did not go too far over. As Christmas gets closer I tend to buy first and count the cost later.
The only nagging worry in the back of my mind is being caused by another broken tooth that I discovered yesterday. The very back corner of a wisdom tooth has disappeared. That means another trip to Mexico to inquire about a crown or just bite the bullet and get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. My father has crowns on all of his wisdom teeth so I know it is possible. Not exactly how I wanted to start off the new year but life doesn't always follow my plan. I'm trying not to think about it and just enjoy my vacation. I have plenty to keep me occupied including a double Christmas at my sister's house and my parent's house then a joint Christmas dinner.
My dog sitter just sent me a text message and said my brown dog was adopted on Monday and she has been taking my pit mix dog to adoptathons and the dog is being very well-behaved and there is a lot of interest in her. That would be great if she was adopted. She is a very good dog...as long as you aren't another dog. I do miss my dogs and my cat. Some day maybe they can travel with me.
