I Hate Fine Print
Even though I still have a cold I managed to get to Fry's grocery store because they have been advertising their $10 off a $100 gift card purchase and the deal is over today, I think...I can't really think straight with a cold. The commercial and the ad say mix and match, buy $100 worth of gift cards and get $10 off up to $50 total rewards. Since I was planning on buying some gift cards anyway I picked out $200 worth. I bought a little bit more than I had planned to reach that $200 mark. At the cash register the clerk told me that only one of my cards qualified for the deal. So it turns out I didn't get any money back and I made a special trip for nothing. Thanks a lot Fry's. Why do they have to make shopping more complicated? Christmas shopping is already frustrating enough. I am annoyed enough to go shop at Safeway for a while until I forget that I am mad at Fry's. Maybe I'll send them an email to complain. To my family members who are reading this...sorry to spoil the surprise but you'll be getting gift cards this year. Who wants the $50 for Applebees?

Is that all of your shopping done? That might be worth the trip. Kind of nice to get out of the house and spread some germs when you have been sick too.
We don't have Frys or Safeway so I can't get mad at either one with you.
That's only the non-Washington people...and maybe some of them too if I can't find anything up there. Fry's is owned by Kroger. I'm sure you have one of their sister stores...Fred Meyer, Smiths, King Soopers, Food 4 Less...?
We have an Applebee's near us although I COULD secret shop for free LOL. But my budget is tight this year, your gift card will only be for $10...hmm can't send one for Fry's now that you are mad. :)
We have Krogers all over the place, but they are pretty expensive. Food City is the cheap option here. There is one Aldi's, but it is pretty small/limited.
Big Sis, I like my door better and it was only $10 too. I love practical gifts!
Over the Cubicle, Kroger owns the world I think. I never went in to an Aldi when I lives back east. I've heard good things about them though and wish I had gone there when I had the chance. My choices are pretty limited now unless I want to drive a lot.
