My Garden Back-up Plan Is Working

When I first planted my garden, my boss agreed to plant some zucchini plants at his house if I started them for him. I did and he did and now I have zucchini even though my plants died. It was a great back-up plan. He travels every week so he just brings in the weeks harvest for me and I'm set. I didn't know it would work this well but it was a great idea. I wish he had planted a tomato too. With all of the tomato recalls, home-grown tomatoes would have been really nice right now.

I spent $50 at the grocery store last week. I am trying not to buy more groceries for another week. I would like another watermelon though and since my carpool meets at the grocery store parking lot it would be really convenient to run in and get one. I just need to resist the temptation to buy other treats that I really don't need.
