More Christmas Shopping

You know, even thought I have been talking about Christmas shopping for the last couple of weeks, I haven't really accomplished much. I only got one gift suggestion so far. It is difficult to shop when I don't know what to buy. I have made a little bit of progress. I was able to buy and send a care package to my niece. I purchased and shipped a belated birthday present for my friend. I was able to arrange pick-ups from work with UPS which is soooo convenient. I'm going to ask for a postal scale for Christmas so that I can ship from home too. Hint, hint.

This weekend I am determined to buy gifts for my friend in Hungary. If I don't ship before Thanksgiving it won't get there before Christmas. I don't think I have ever actually shipped before Thanksgiving. Usually they get New Year's gifts from me. Last year I was too stressed out looking for a job and I didn't send anything. Then there is the problem of finding a unique gift that isn't made in China. The idea is to find something from the US and he sends something uniquely Hungarian. One year I sent a scorpion paperweight since I live in the desert. I guess I should make the trek to the Mall to see if anything jumps out at me. I had better make a list so that I don't waste my whole day there.
