Just when I confirm my guest's reservation for the week between Christmas and New Years, another person calls and wants to rent the house for all of December and January! Ack. This always seems to happen. Oh well, I should be happy with my guest and not start counting money that I could have gotten. That happened last year too because I thought I wasn't going to get any more renters so I let some people stay for the weekend. Then a few days later I got a call from someone wanting to stay for 3 weeks but they couldn't because now I had one weekend booked. At least I have a whole month reserved for the local gem show. Hopefully they will be trouble free guests, unlike last year. I hope this is the last year that I do this short tern renting. It adds a lot of stress during an already stressful holiday season. Not to mention all of the house cleaning that I have to do between guest. I don't even want to think about that.
