I don't have any other big plans at the moment. Most of my weekends involve transporting my nephew to some choir or youth group event so I am trying to keep my plans flexible. I'm supposed to bring a potluck dish for his youth group on Sunday. Hmm...beans and franks? Ambrosia? Maybe I'll make cookies.
I am saving money for the college trip in March and one of my dogs needs his teeth cleaned which is very expensive. I have plenty of projects to work on without buying more supplies. My 401K is down $10K so I don't want to look at it. It is better to just keep working and saving for the small steps like my next extra mortgage payment.
For now, I will enjoy the nice weather and keep prodding my nephew through a successful junior year (I hope).

How much do you pay for your dog's dental cleaning? We actually have the Banfield (hospital inside PetSmart) Wellness Plan because it's around $300 and includes vaccinations, twice-yearly exams and a yearly dental cleaning. I think it's closer to $350 for dogs, but it might be worth looking into.
Lizzie, I agree. I think all kitchens need fairy lights and every other room too.

Abigail, I keep going back and forth between the benefits of the discount cleaning ($175) and the much higher cost of the vet office with dental xrays + cleaning ($1,000). I got his teeth cleaned for $60 once with a rescue discount. I'm not sure how much good it did. He is my favorite dog and I am a nervous wreck when he goes under sedation. I wish there was a middle ground, like, with car washes. The economy clean, the better clean, the super clean. I just want one X-ray and a cleaning. Nothing fancy.
