My Viewing Screen Gets Even Smaller

My netbook charger decided to die last night.  It lasted 1 year and 1 month.  I guess that's good for a $7 charger ($2 charger + $5 shipping).  This is the fourth charger that I have had.  The first one was chewed by a dog.  The others just gave up.  I don't know how long my netbook will survive.  I don't remember how old it is but it must be at least 5 years old.  Spending $7 a year on a new charger is worth the money for as long as the netbook keeps working.

Usually, it would be a major inconvenience to wait a week for the charger to arrive from China.  This time, I have a phone that has internet access and even plays Netflix (even though the screen is tiny) so the biggest inconvenience is having to write my blog posts on my desktop computer.  That's not a very big deal.  I feel very spoiled with my new fancy phone as backup.  By the way, I decided to keep my new phone and I ported my number over and canceled Verizon.  It was hard to give up Verizon because they are the only cell phone service I have ever had but the dollars eventually changed my mind.  My new phone bill with Republic Wireless is $12.50.  So far, the service works fine but I haven't tried it anywhere except home and work.

I didn't feel like getting out of my pajamas yesterday or spending any money so I sewed this pocket for my $300 phone out of some scrap material and thin packing foam.  It just needs a little bit of velcro to keep it closed.  I have some around here some place.  Maybe if I start cleaning I will find it.
