Anticipating Some Demolition!

My garage demolition is scheduled for 7am tomorrow. Normally I would be groaning at having to get up that early on a Saturday but I haven't been able to sleep well all week because I have been SO EXCITED about this! I just want it to be torn down and cleaned up and the vehicles towed away so I can move on to my next project. All of the logistics of moving cars and the RV and selling and tearing down or fixing the garage and how to do it and who to hire and how much it will cost and on and on. I just want it all to be out of my head.

I am thrilled that it will be accomplished so soon. I was hoping to get the 2 cars sold and the garage torn down before next Summer (May) but getting it done before the end of the year AND selling the RV too, I still can't believe it and it will be such a relief when everything is gone. I told a coworker that I was taking a half day today and she wanted to know if I was doing anything fun. I said YES! I'm cleaning out my garage so that it can be torn down tomorrow. She looked at me like I was crazy and said 'to each his own'. You mean everyone doesn't think cleaning out a garage is fun? Haha. I'm just weird like that I guess.

I am back at home now after 5 hours of cleaning out the garage.  The water tanks are empty, most of the blocks and bricks are moved, and everything that isn't car related is out of the garage.  I have a big trash pile.  That isn't included in the deal but I am hoping that they won't charge a lot to haul it away.  It would take me forever with my little truck and it costs $15 a load to dump it.  There are around 20 bricks that I still have to move.  It was too dark to see and I had already seen 2 scorpions and 1 black widow spider so I decided to stop.  Plus, I am so tired and sore.  I hope I can get some sleep tonight.  I have to go back tomorrow and clean the RV.

I think it sounds very exciting!
Maybe she thought shopping or standing in a queue at Disney was more fun. 'shudder'

This sounds like a huge stroke of good fortune, Daizy. That is, except for the spider and scorpions LOL! Be careful with that.

Thanks, Lee! It went great. If only every weekend was that productive.

Yes, Lizzie, I probably should have said shopping to make her happy. I think shopping would have been even more tiring than moving bricks.

Dave, only 3 dime-sized scorpions and one black widow. Not bad for disturbing a whole lot of prime critter habitat.
