Yee-Haw, it's the weekend! I decided to visit my parents on Saturday instead of working on the yard or going out to my property. My mom needs a new computer since her old Mac is just about dead. Even the Mac help-line couldn't help her because the thing is so old. I'll be picking up a Dell desktop, most likely, from Best Buy tomorrow. I hate Windows 8 but if I get it set up with the things that she uses most often, email, news, weather, I think she should be able to figure it out. My price range is $500 and I found one on the website. I'm hoping that I can find the same thing in the store or something close to it.
Also on the to-do list, help mom tidy up her yard and cook the large chunk of meat that I bought last week. I need to remember to throw it in the crock pot in the morning. I read that the price of chicken is going up and beef is going down. I guess I'll have to learn how to cook beef.
I have continued to clear the weeds from my yard after work until dark. I usually only have 15 or 20 minutes but every little bit helps. The dog's side of the yard is almost done. I just need to rearrange the rocks and railroad ties to define the edges of the flower beds. Then I can buy more gravel and fill in all the open spaces. I'm going to try to grow a small patch of grass for the dogs. It will be only 3'x4' near my sliding door. If seed doesn't work, I might try sod. But that's for another weekend. This weekend is all about computers.

Haha...I know, every time I get one chore done, 6 more pop up. It is never-ending!
