Finally Done With The Taxes
I finally submitted my taxes. I am a horrible procrastinator when it comes to taxes. I used TaxAct but I couldn't keep track of all of the fees. I thought I prepaid but I ended up paying $20 to file, or to have a back up copy on file, or...I don't even know. All I know is that they have been filed and if all goes well I will have $1,000 for my emergency fund.

Glad to hear you got that done. Last week, I not only finished my own taxes but those of two friends of mine, one of which has taxes which are becoming more complicated while my own and those of the other friend have become easier. I do all 3 returns on paper although I designed a homemade spreadsheet which aids in the calculations.
I'm glad someone enjoys the whole tax process. My sister does taxes for a living. I never saw the thrill in it.
