No Time To Be Lonely

Once again I forgot to take any new pictures of my house although it really hasn't changed much. I went to Lowe's today in search of 4' fencing but they too only carry 3' and 5'. I need to order it online now but I am writing this instead. Lowe's did not have the spray on grout sealer either so I bought a spray bottle. I'm probably wasting a lot of it but I must say, I can spray a lot of grout in a short amount of time. So far I have only done the laundry room but it took only a few minutes.

The bed that I had lined up fell through so next Saturday will be bed day. I am looking for a queen size, a twin size and a futon because guess what?...My parent's and brother are moving in for a while. They will be staying at my house until they find a place to rent or buy. I don't know how this is going to work with parents and dogs but I am going to find out very soon.

Now I need 3 dressers too. I thought I had 2 dressers but I haven't heard from one person who promised me one, and the other dresser is stuck in house buying limbo. The dresser is part of the house and furniture that my co-worker is buying but unfortunately the deal has hit a little snag. The ex-wife has slapped a lien on the house to get her share and that will probably slow the deal down or even cancel it so I can't count on that dresser any more.

So, I need 3 beds and 3 dressers. Let's see if I can accomplish that next weekend.

I'm having to live at my parents at the moment, with my two teenagers and cat.My parents are deaf and play everything at rocket volume and we're all studying for exams so Yes stressful but also hilarious at times. We have fun times ,we also have bickering and moody moods. But it's do-able. Just smile, try and grin and bear it. I've heard things are pretty bad in the U.S.A at the moment with job losses and people losing their homes. Keep seeing videos on You tube about tent cities springing up and people having to move into motels and stuff. Is it like that near you? Jules UK

Wow, you have houseguests and you are barely a hostess yet! Perhaps you let a snake or two in there in case you get tired of them? hehehehe

Got a feeling you are going to be missing the quiet of the desert and a few dogs pretty soon.
Have you tried freecycle for your furniture?

Wow, Jules, that sounds like quite an interesting household. We don't have any tent cities, just the usual tent here and there in the desert where the homeless people live. I heard about a family living in an old bus for a while but as soon as their story ran in the paper all sorts of help came for them. I wonder where they are now. They should do a follow up story.

Haha Dave, I think my 7 dogs will drive them away soon enough. No snakes necessary.

Lizzie, I'm missing it already and I haven't left yet. Freecycle is busy place. I prefer craig's list because
I don't have to be so quick to grab things.
