I need to start looking at the weather forecast. I took a nap this morning and woke up to raindrops on the RV roof. I hadn't expected any rain. It started raining harder and kept going for a few hours. It wouldn't have been bad except that I had left the 3 bags of sand in the back of my truck. I don't know why they package 60 pounds of sand in paper bags but they do. I unloaded the 10 bags of gravel in plastic bags and spread it around the dog run. Then it was time for the sand. Of course the bag ripped right away. I ended up scooping it in to a bucket and tossing it over the fence.
It looks much better in the dog run now. I suppose it will only stay that way for a few days. I am hoping it helps cut down on dust and bark being tracked in. The dust is a constant battle.
Anyway, I also got 2 loads of laundry done and cooked some things for lunch this week. I'm going to count up my vacation days tomorrow and see if I can take Friday off to get ready for my trip. I hope so. A 4 day work week would sure be nice.

Could you section of a bit at a time and concrete it? If it wasn't for their paws then yuo could mix concrete into the sand and gravel for a dry mix whickh would set when it rains but i tihnk it would burn their little paws. or maybe wellie boots for dogs? A new business idea!
I don't want concrete because if they pee it will just puddle and they will walk in it. So far the gravel is working well. I just have to keep the poop scooped.
oh yes, didnt think about that, nasty.
