There were 2 people there when we arrived and 4 more people showed up while we were there. It was priced at only $79,900 so I am sure it will go fast and probably will be bid up over the asking price.

Both bathrooms had original 50's tile in great condition. I hope the buyer keeps it or at least takes it off gently and re-sells it. I was reading online that replacement tiles can cost $30 for discontinued tile like this.
Ooohhh...pink and mauve.
I don't know why the picture of the backyard came out so tiny. It was a large backyard.

There were a couple of reasons why I didn't want it. The neighbor had built a platform in the tree near the fence for his kids. That would have driven my dogs crazy to see kids playing over their heads. Another reason was that it is closer to town than I would like. It is just too busy. And lastly, although it wasn't as bad as the other house that I saw on Sunday, it still needed work, flooring, paint, kitchen cabinets fixed, holes in wall, etc.... I liked the other house and yard and location better.
I think I have run out of houses to look at. The area that I was going to look at next is too close to town for my taste. I looked down every street as I drove by and just didn't like the area. If the fixer-upper from Sunday is still available on Monday I will make an offer of $65k. They are asking $85k which is ridiculous. If that doesn't work, I will just have to be patient and wait for more houses to come on the market.

A 3/4 bathroom is a shower without a bath.
