To Mexico We Go

At two in the morning my blind and deaf cocker spaniel wandered in to the bedroom which caused my dog, Jimmie, to protect his bed by loudly barking and pushing him over. This was not a pleasant way to wake up. I managed to go back to sleep after putting everyone back in their places but 5am came fast.

At 7am I was riding down to Mexico with 3 other coworkers for a rousing day of trying to look busy. We had our meeting as planned and then I logged people off their computers whenever they stepped away from their desks in an attempt to check my email. I managed to get a little bit of work done on three different computers. Maybe next time I will bring my own laptop. The only reason that I didn't bring it this time was that I didn't want to move my broken power cord. My new cord should arrive Friday.

We went to the burrito place for lunch again. It seems like we go there everytime I visit. I just wish they had a chicken option instead of all carne asada. The others can't believe that I don't think that place is wonderful but I'm just not in to that much beef or spicy things. I get lots of flak about being too picky.

We got to leave early, 3:30pm and we made it to the office by 5 which was good because I got home at the regular time. I spent a few minutes scraping grey paint off of my truck with a razor blade. If I am careful I think I can get most of the paint off. At least that will make the dent a little less noticeable. I'm going to bed now. It was a long day.

Glad to hear you got through your Mexico day OK. As for your recent snags, hang in there! You really have come so far, and are so close. You are an inspiration : )

I dont think you could be called fussy about food. Not liking spicy stuff is just not liking spicy stuff. Hope it is a t least free if its on business travel.
Good idea with fixing the paint work. No point in wasting too much on it escoially if not likely to rust.

Daizy, I am picturing you giving your truck a "shave" LOL! Did you spritz on it any Aqua Velva after you finished?

Jo Ann, Thanks for your words of support. It is very hard to put my plan on hold for these problems but it will get paid eventually and it will feel great when it is gone.

Lizze, and my coworkers don't ever seem to need antacids. My stomach hates peppers. I can't help it. I have antacids next to my bed and i don't even eat spicy foods.

Dave, no but I used a little scouring powder. After shave would have smelled better.
