It was another dog day. I drove across town with 2 dogs and hung out for 4 hours. There was a lot of interest as usual but no adoptions. My puppy-nanny told me I could bring my own laundry (as well as the dog laundry) to her house any time AND there is a dog park near her house with GRASS! (not just dirt like at the dog park that I have been to). I can bring my dogs AND laundry. This might actually be enough to motivate me to go even although she lives 40 minutes away. Too bad I don't have any time this weekend.
The picture is a bit blurry but there was a cute little boy holding one of the Chihuahuas up for adoption. He was thrilled that he got to hold it.
I would love to have tomorrow off like a lot of people do but no, it is a regular work week. I hope it is a good week but I am already looking forward to another weekend.

You know I keep looking at that comforter thinking it is the same one I have. Is it part of a flannel set. I love my comforter but have had it for so long that I think this will be it's last year, but I love it, so maybe I will continue to use it while it disintegrates further
Which comforter? I had a white and light blue quilt that fell apart and now it is dog bedding. Then I had a flannel white and blue plaid but it was too much trouble to wash and dry, it took 2 cycles to dry. Now I am using a brown and green duvet cover that I made by sewing 2 sheets together. Much easier to wash because the blanket inside doesn't need to be washed as often.
the comforter the cat is lying on
Oh that one. It is a duvet cover for my down comforter. It didn't work too well with the cat. Her nails snagged the little threads running through it.
