Inching Forward

Another day gone to the dogs. We got three adoptions at the pet store but, alas, none of them were my dogs. I did send my extra dog off to a new foster home so I am back with my normal pack. My dogs almost get along with eachother. There is an occasional fight but it is manageable. Tomorrow I hope to section off part of the dog run for the momma dog and her pups. I am afraid that once the pups get mobile the momma dog will get more protective and fight with the rest of my dogs. I am hoping to avoid such confrontations.

I got the first two checks from my stock sales. $1,100 so far. One request came back because the address of the bank changed. I'm still hoping all of the stock adds up to $3,000. If not, you know what that means...adding another month....nooooo! Oh well, that won't be the end of the world, just something I don't like to think about. I still have at least 4 months to go and these last few month seem to be the hardest to get through. The end is in sight but everything keeps jumping in front of me wanting me to buy it and I haven't even started Christmas shopping yet. If I am not careful I might have to add a few more months!

Maybe dog adoption certificates for everyone Christmas present. they don't get the actual dogs but they have to provide. That's how it works when I adopt a polar bear from the world wildlife fund. Guess you might not be that popular with the family then ....

I am finding it difficult to comment at the moment btw sometimes it doesn't come up and other times you get it twice.

Good idea Lizzie! Sponsors for all my dogs. That would be great.

I don't mind 2 comments, better than none!

These last months! It must feel something like getting home in the winter with a strong urge to go to the bathroom, but first you have got to peel yourself out of all the winter gear...

KoBold, that is funny. I remember that a lot from travelling Europe. First find the bathroom, then get the correct currency, then wait for an opening, then there is nowhere to hang your coat, then oh no, no toilet paper!...Bathroom trips had to be well planned in advance!
