Squash Time

This is why I let my other blog, Daizy's Desert Garden, go quiet. Here is my squash harvest so far. Put that together with my 5 green beans and I really don't have much to talk about, at least not enough to sustain a blog on its own.

I am thrilled that I got 2 good looking squash so far. I hope they are good. Last year I didn't get any and the year before I got one small one and one hollow one. This time they had more shade and more water. They are on the north side of my mobile home and they get the run-off from my sinks. I was directing my shower water there too but it turned out to be too much water. Now most of the shower water goes on the ground after it fills up my watering can. If I had a tree nearby and down hill I could direct the water there but that's a project for a later date.
