I always think the weekend is over too soon. This one is no exception. I did get some rain for about 20 minutes so I will have enough water for laundry next weekend and if I get more rain this week then I can start filling up my reserve tanks again. How nice that will be.
I spent most of the day hanging out with other dog rescue people at an adoption event. One of our dogs got adopted, but not mine. I brought my foster dog who had previously thrown up and peed in my truck. I thought it was just because she was sick and nervous since it was her first day out of the pound. Well, after I finally got my truck smelling normal again, guess what? She threw up and peed in my truck. Next time I take her somewhere I must remember to cover the seat and floor with plastic garbage bags and towels. It will make clean up so much easier. I cleaned up most of it and sprayed it down with pet odor eliminator so hopefully that will help the smell.
And since I am already talking about gross stuff, I should add that my port-o-potti idea has worked wonderfully. I didn't want to go through all of the trouble of hooking up a real toilet in the bedroom that I added at the end of the mobile home so I have a port-o-potti in there. It is very convenient and I only have to empty it every week or two so it saves a ton of water. All I have to do is fill the back of the toilet down the hall (which is connected to the septic tank but not to the water line) with 4 gallons of water (it's not a low-flo kind) and then empty the potti with one flush.
Ok, enough potti talk. What do I have to look forward to this week? Um...payday on Wednesday, more rain, and...Friday!

You dont like it too easy, that's for sure. I will think of you when i am moaning about doing my laundry and washing machine and actual water are just in the kitchen waiting for action.
Ah, waching machines with automatic water dipensers...I have heard of such a thing. Someday I too will have one! For now I will just be jealous of yours.
