Before.
After. (I need to paint that wood!)
On the inside.
I put the air conditioner in it today. It fits nicely. That thing is so heavy that I think I will just leave it there. Air conditioner weather is right around the corner. Ooo, I don't like to think about that!

Last Work Day With The Parents
We got the window in and both drains! Everything on my list was accomplished, floor, drains, and window. Now there are a million little details to do, shower curtains, a vinyl floor patch in the bathroom, fix the kitchen sink so that it is connected to the base, re-organise everything, put all tools and building supplies in a central location (out of sight), hook the drains together outside and move the big flower pot under the pipe ...the list goes on and on. I am thrilled with our 3 weekends of work. It looks great too. Thanks parents!

Looking good! One step closer to paying off your mortgage. When do you think you will sell the RV?
Not until the Fall I think. I have a list of expensive repairs for it. If I do them now and the RV doesn't sell, it could set me back a month. I don't want that!
Gotcha. Cover that wood on the inside with some curtains or mini blinds and you won't be able to tell it is there.
That's exactly what my mom said today. Yesterday I made a little curtain from a cafe rod and a pillow case and she said I should put one on the other side to cover the wood.
Thanks again for the step by step on your repairs/renovations. I'm not too handy so it's a great learning experience for me.
Thats is excellent progress. Do they have to go home again!! Shame the dogs cant help out a bit more!
Lizzie
Simple in France, you are welcome. I wouldn't be so willing to try some of this if it wasn't an already beat up mobile home. But I figured it is already ruined, might as well use it for my experiments.
Lizzie, I know, I got so much done. I probably won't do anything for the next 3 weekends.
