Dog And Burro Find Their Home

After a 5am donkey braying, dog barking fest, my day is finally ending and dog and burro are home..at least I think the burro is gone. I didn't see him when I drove up tonight.

I stayed home this morning until the feed store opened and went there to post a found sign and buy some burro food. Turns out the lady at the feed store recognised the burro/dog combination and called another lady to see if they were hers. She lives one street over from me all the way at the end. I never would have thought that they came from that direction because my property is fenced on that side. After she got the dog, who is a 9 month old Great Pyrenees named Bear, she hoped that Fajita the burro would follow them home. It didn't happen and I had to go to work. I didn't see the burro tonight so I hope that she was able to coax it home. I can't stand another rude awakening at 5am.

On another note, my parents arrived and I took them grocery shopping. They are settling in to their guest house. I just got home and still need to take care of the dogs, take a shower and go to bed. I need another weekend already! When is Friday?

I was kind of hoping you would get to keep them :)

Not me! I don't have room for giant dogs and stubborn burros.

That's probably why I like them so much -- as I am so stubborn though I am not known to wake people up so early. Fajita -- what a name!

Have a great visit with your parents.
