I was going to let the propane run out but it was really low and I don't have a kitchen set up in the mobile home yet. I use propane for the fridge and for cooking in the RV. I have a replacement fridge but if the propane ran out I would only have the microwave and toaster oven.
Since I've been driving my own truck this week for various reasons, I took one tank downtown to the propane depot yesterday during my lunch break. They checked it for leaks and gave it a new certification sticker. They didn't even charge me for it. Today I took the second tank down. Again they didn't charge me. Now I have 2 full tanks that will last around 2 months or more. That gives me a lot more time to get things organised and set up in the mobile home.
And in dog news...the little guy got neutered today but not before terrorizing the vet staff and biting the vet on the finger. The lady in charge of the rescue was there too and she said maybe it would be better if I kept him, she didn't want a lawsuit. When I picked him up he was freaking out on the leash and had wild dog eyes. He quickly calmed down when he saw me and the vet staff were amazed at the transformation. There is someone who wants to meet him. I might just take him to meet her and see how he acts. If it doesn't go well then maybe I will keep him.

The little guy missed you. Looks like he has forgiven you for the whole neutering thing.
Look at those eyes! Great picture!
Wow--I think the dog wants to stay! How can you resist.
Over the Cubicle, good thing he forgives easy. He has sharp little teeth.
Middle Way, I know, so cute when he wants to be.
Simple in France, it is hard. I don't think I can resist much longer.
