I didn't expect emptying my water tank to take so long. I started yesterday afternoon and it is almost empty tonight. I'll have to wait until next weekend to move it up the hill and set it up. This time, when I set it up, I'm going to make sure that the whole tank is tilted towards the drain and it sits on a higher base. I lost about 70 gallons because I couldn't siphon the last few inches.
I did get 3 loads of laundry done. Allowing the dogs on the bed makes washing blankets a more frequent chore. I vacuumed the living room and bedroom in my on-going fight against dirt/dust. The TV gets a thick coat of dust every week. I need one of those Hepa filter fans or something. I also took the time to make waffles from scratch and freeze the extras for later. I don't think I have done that since before the dogs. I made lentil soup in the crock pot too. I didn't try it but I am taking it for lunch tomorrow so I hope it is edible. I even made it to the water machine and filled up 10 gallons of drinking water. That should last all week.
Here's my latest home improvement question for all the electricians out there: Can I use a 115V pump with regular house current? What is the difference between a 115V pump and a 110V pump? The price difference is $25 so I would like to buy the 115V pump. Any thoughts?
