Yea, my water pump is here! Do normal people get excited about water pumps? Well, if you have to carry water around for a while I guarantee you would be excited about a water pump too. It does not have a plug so I will be buying one soon and also an on/off switch like I have in the RV. The guys at work said it is easy to hook up a switch and plug. I have changed the plug on a dryer before so I guess I have a little bit of experience.
I will also be moving the water tank, which I emptied last week, up to the mobile home. Then I need to figure out how to raise it up so that I can have the water pump inside the mobile home (protected from pack rats) or else I need to buy a backflow prevention device if the pump will be higher than the tank. That will keep the pump primed so that it will work. I haven't figured out the details yet.
The rest of the weekend will be dogs, dogs and dogs. I'm not even sure I will have time for my pump this weekend. The dogs are taking over. I might be getting a new foster dog. I picked one out that is on the kill list at the pound but the rescue group is still evaluating him. I should hear something tomorrow. One more day until the weekend!
Kitty looks relieved that it isn't another dog!
Ha, little does she know that it will get us another step closer to moving in with the dogs! She's not going to like that at all.
I like the way the cat is finally starting to help out with the chores.
Yes Lizzie, I was hoping she would have it all set up when I got home today but unfortunately she works very slowly.
