Almost The Weekend

One more day until the weekend. This was a very busy week. Just when I get started on one thing I get interrupted with something more important. Then I try to go back to what I was doing and figure out where I was, then get interrupted again. Then I mess up what I was doing because I got interrupted. Then someone points out a mistake so I have to stop again and go back and fix it. It's a mad scramble from 8-5 until I can finally turn the computer off and go home. So frustrating but at least the time goes fast.

I've had a sinus headache all day so I'm going to bed early. The change in the weather usually gives me a headache. One of these days it is going to rain. I hope it is soon. I don't want another wind-only weekend. Why are all of the calm days Monday thru Friday? Pretty soon I'll be complaining that the rain has washed out my dirt road again but that's a few months off.

I think we took all of the rain in the country. This has been a really wet and stormy summer. There was a deluge this afternoon. The oldtimers at work call it a 'tub rain'.

Hope you feel better soon.

I like reading discussions about rainbarrels on other blogs. There is always someone who lives in a wet area of the country who can't imagine why people would want to collect the rain. I just need a pipeline from Tennessee to Arizona. You could give us rain and we could give you...um...cactus?

One sinus pill and the headache is gone. Hopefully it won't be back tomorrow.

I know how you feel Daizy, I am floored at how much I push to the weekend officially starting today: donating paper/cardboard, clothes, volunteering 3hrs, knitting some of my blouse, calling a friend, agreeing with friend to meet for evening movie, order takeout, workout, apply to 3 jobs, buy iced coffee get lotto tickets for mom. THEN my Saturday starts with job fair, get donuts from Shipleys, buy pet supplies, rent two movies for weekend before coupon expires, buy GPS at Best Buy. YIKES

Hi rinter, that's a lot of stuff to do! It does sound better than my desk job though. I guess the grass is always greener.

If you were a computer, the situation at work would be called a Stack Overflow.
Luckily, you are not a computer.
Happy scrambling!
