Better late than never right? I transferred an extra $1,236 towards the principle on my mortgage today. That brings it to a grand total of $45,838!
Of course then I had to update my spreadsheets.
-If I did not pay any more extra then it would take 7 years and 8 months to pay off the mortgage.
-If I was to sell my RV and use my savings and stocks it would take 1 year and 1 month.
-If I cashed in my 401k and used my savings and stocks but did not sell my RV, I would have 2 months left.
-And if I keep on following the plan that I have been following all along then I have 1 year and 6 months. Yea!
I was hoping to put a little bit more towards the mortgage this month but May has been an expensive month for me so far. Gas for my truck last week when I wasn't carpooling, stuff to fight the mouse invasion, all of the birthdays and other celebrations...it adds up. That's ok though. I'm glad I have enough money to cover it all. That reminds me, I need to go send something to my nephew to cheer him while he is in pain and so far from home. Poor kid. :(

Nice job! That mortgage doesn't stand a chance with all of your backup plans.
Yup, I have back ups for my back ups. And yet I can't figure out what a good gift would be for my nephew. I think I am going to spend all night on Amazon. :(
You can call the hospital gift shop directly and have a gift delivered. I am sure they have lots of nice kid-friendly stuff and it will get there immediately. Some hospitals even have a website for their gift shops.
You're a nice aunt. Maybe an iPod? Is that too expensive?
Big Sis, that gift shop is missing out on some big internet sales without a website! Too bad.
Hi Tessie! Good idea. I've been working on an ipod rental from one of his cousins. That way it will come with songs on it already.
