It's my birthday which means free cake at work! It was a big cake so I left it there so we all can eat it for the next few lunches. They teased me about taking it home and eating it for the next 2 weeks but I'm not really fond of frozen cake. I'd rather share it.
I like telling people that it is my birthday because they always say "Oh! Happy Birthday!". It usually gets me a free pass at work to talk on the phone more than usual. It makes the day go by faster.
Now that my birthday is pretty much over I have plenty of other May occasions to think about...3 birthdays, 1 get well, 1 belated Mother's Day, and 1 graduation. I wish I had some creative ideas but I've got nothing. I hope they like cash.

Ooh! Happy Birthday!
After I did that post on graduation gifts, my nephew ended up telling me he wanted some 'presidential portraits', but not of Washington or Jefferson :P
Cash it is.
Exactly! :)
I asked my niece and she said...a car, a job, or cash. My choice.
A car? Sounds like a good home for the Omega?
I thought of that but the trick would be how to tow it there and then how to force her to take it off my hands! I think I would have to pay her.
A gift is a gift. She can pick it up at her convenience.
Just kidding.
Thanks! I send ecards to all of my sisters' kids. It's hard to find good ones. I wish they would make more. Maybe it's something I could learn to do in my 'semi' retirement.
Happy Birthday, and I hope everything goes well with your nephew!
Oh, happy birthday!
Dropbox surprise link sent by email.
Happy Birthday, Little Sis!!
Yeah, you can leave the car where it is ;) The niece can't afford the insurance, gas, registration...
Happy Birthday to you.
Email me a slice please!
Happy Birthday!!
(Mine is Friday - it's a great month to have a birthday, huh?)
