I admit it. I wasn't going to vote today. I don't like the choices and I was pretty sure that I knew who was going to win for Arizona. The more I listened to the news and the early results from other states, the more I thought that my vote might still matter. I wasn't even sure I was registered in this county but I came home tonight and found my voter card and sure enough I was registered. Since the polls didn't close until 7pm, I got back in the car and made my way to the polling place which thankfully was pretty easy to find and not crowded. It was a nice feeling to take part in the election. I am glad that I made the effort.
On a different topic, I think my rental fishy got away. She said she had to think about it which pretty much means it's too expensive. Maybe I should have offered a discount but Feb/Mar is still prime tourist season. I'll offer discounts later.
I had to scrape my windshield this morning. Brrr. 30 degrees is cold for Arizona! The snowy cactus picture is from last year. Last night we only got some wet flurries and hail. I probably shouldn't tell you that it will be 70 degrees and sunny this weekend!
