That bill that has been haunting me, the first one that was submitted with my new insurance back in April, the one that turned from green to evil going-to-collections pink has finally been paid! And at 100%! At least that is what the insurance company tells me. I will be sure to check with the billing office to make sure.
Just as that issue is getting resolved, I have another claim that appears to be stuck in the system. The second bill was processed without a problem and I have paid my part, $1,100. The third bill has disappeared. The billing office says they are waiting to hear from the insurance. The insurance doesn't have any record of it. I am beginning to worry. This is a different billing office so I don't know how they work. They haven't sent me a bill yet. They are just patiently waiting. I don't know what happens when they get tired of waiting. The person handling my bill won't be back until Monday so I will have to wait until then.
I have an appointment for the dentist next week. I am nervous about going. Not only do I not like going to the dentist, but I am also afraid that I will have another insurance claim to drive me crazy.
