No Time For Clutter‏

This week is moving along nicely. Only two more days to go until the weekend. I can't decide whether to go to bed early tonight, work on setting up an area for my cat in the mobile home or watch another episode of Simon and Simon on Hulu. I knew once I got my netbook working it would be a temptation to watch all those shows I haven't seen since my childhood. That's one reason I don't have satellite tv. I know I would waste a lot of time flipping channels. But now they are at my fingertips and free! So many shows, so little time.

One bad thing about watching shows on the netbook is that the speaker is super tiny. I need earphones to be able to hear. That means I can't have a show on while I am doing other things like cleaning and organizing because I am tethered to my netbook. So much for being wireless. I'm sure they sell speakers for it. Maybe my old walkman speakers will work. I'll have to try that.

Yes, I still have my old walkman speakers...and my old walkman. Why? Because it still works. At least it did the last time I tried it. But it eats batteries like crazy and my tapes are so old they would probably turn to dust if I touched them...Yes, I still have my tapes. I'm going to tackle that stuff after I have finished moving in. Maybe I should try to play them. I can clean and declutter while listening to old tapes. Then I can write down songs that I want to buy from Amazon and finally throw away the tapes. Sounds like a good project for the Summer.

Simon and Simon won. I had to try the headphones that I found. The old headphones work great. Then I remembered that I didn't have anything for lunch. Made lunch...so much for going to bed early. Maybe tomorrow.

Speakers should work if the head phones do.

I would go for extra snoozing. Plenty of time for TV after your move to the mobile home is complete...and even more after retirement.

Lizzie, my speakers are playing hide and seek. I'll have to look for them this weekend.
