Pictures Of My Dog Habitat

Here are a few pictures of the dog habitat that I made for my new mom and pups.  The air conditioner worked well today and kept the temperature in the dog den very comfortable.  It doesn't need to be cold, just around 85 degrees for the puppies.

I let the momma dog out of her fenced area and she ignored my dogs which is good.  She only got a little concerned when my big dog went in to her fenced area.  She blocked her den with her body and my poor dog was cut off from the gate so he had no escape.  I was able to distract her so he could slip by though.  So far she only gives them the evil eye.  I haven't heard her growl.  She did bark a couple of times last night but she only barks once or twice and then stops.
Her two remaining pups look as fat and happy as 5 day old pups can be.  So far so good.  I still need to buy a white noise machine for when the puppies get bigger and noisier.  My fans are loud but still not loud enough since I am a very light sleeper.

I'm not sure how to say this.. I do really like your blog and enjoy alot of what you post. I also think it is great how you are helping animals in need however, if I lived next door to that I would definately call code enforcment.

It is not a permanent structure and would be taken down if the house was sold. Since I don't live in an HOA there are no covenants against it either. I doubt the city would care.
