I actually thought about manufactured homes again today and was looking at floor plans on their website but I ended up back at my usual decision. I would rather have a site built home. Concrete on the floor and a quality building. It is possible to get a quality manufactured home but by the time you pay for all the upgrades it is on par with the cost of a site built (at least in this economy). The only plus side would be that they can deliver in 30 days and the biggest plus, they provide their own financing.
I suppose, if I have to, I can pay someone to come out and build me a 2 foot block wall with concrete footings to protect against snakes. Then I only have to worry about snakes coming in the gates. Oh I hate snakes...poisonous snakes that is. Maybe I should go buy some King snakes and let them loose under the mobile home. They could gang up on the rattler.
Don't hate on the snakes. They were around millions of years before any of us. From their point of view, WE are invading THEIR space.
You could always move somewhere with few (or no) venomous snakes. New England for example...
I only hate one snake...the one rattler sleeping under the mobile home. The rest I will admire from afar.
Its okay to hate them, just not to kill them or make their lives miserable, surely?
