The rent finally showed up in my bank account minus some money for A/C replacement filters. It was lovely seeing all of that money in my account but it didn't last long because I desperately needed new tires. I ran out at lunch today and bought some. Gee, maybe my tires would last longer if I actually rotated them like I am supposed to. I am horrible at routine auto maintenance. The weekends are too short to schedule those chores. Of course everything is closed on holidays and Sundays so that leaves only Saturday to get anything done and lately I have been spending every Saturday on the dogs.
Speaking of dogs, another dog rescue person volunteered to take my latest group of puppies to the vet for their spay/neuter appointment. It was so nice and peaceful while they were gone. They are back now but soon they will be up for adoption and I am really looking forward to having less dogs. I want to get back down to 5 0r 6. One of these days it will be cool enough in the evenings to go for walks again and I want to have a manageable size pack to walk.
Other than a dog adoption event tomorrow, I don't have any special plans. I really need to do laundry and fill up my water tanks in the RV and at the mobile home since I didn't do those chores last weekend. It rained this evening so I should have plenty of water to move around. I love having water. I know I've said it before but mopping the floor feels like a luxury because I usually don't have enough water to spare. So this weekend I will be happily mopping my floor and doing laundry and maybe even doing dishes. I don't know if I can handle such extravagant use of water!

The rent showed up already? I hope the check doesn't bounce again.
Yes, rotating the tires will help your tires. IT isn't something your mechanic will charge you a lot for. Get it done when you get your car inspected. (Does AZ have an annual required inspection and is it done by any service station?)
Oh, and I meant to add this in my last comment in another thread about your less frequent posting - even if you don't add to this blog every day, I hope you can check for comments and reply to them every day. :)
The rent was for last month. It was late and then it takes 10 business days for the management company to put it in my account. Maybe one of these months my tenants will get back on track.
Nope on the annual inspection. We only have an every other year emissions test run by the state.
