Puppies, Puppies Everywhere

The Animal Fair was fun and a lot of work. I didn't have time for breakfast so I spent most of my time trying to go buy food. Every time I tried to sneak away they would call me and say someone was interested in one of my dogs. Finally at 3pm I bought a $4 hotdog and $5 lemonade. The hot dog tasted sooo good because I was starving.

The end results of the fair were disappointing. Only one adoption for me and I wasn't thrilled since it was my tiny dog and the people have small children. I also traded dogs with another foster so my dogs are all disturbed tonight. Hopefully they will stop barking at the new dog soon.

One a bright note, my neighbor found out I have puppies and sent her husband and 2 sons over to take them all for a walk. They had so much fun with them that they want to come over and walk my dogs and play with the puppies a few times a week. That would be great. I have often dreamed of hiring a dog walker. Many free dog walkers is like hitting the jackpot!

Even overpriced junk tastes good when you get your breakfast in late afternoon. Did the dog biscuits tempt you!

A whole group of dog walkers who do it just for fun would be excellent.Good one. Bet the dogs really appreciate it.

Haha...every time I mentioned food the other volunteers would tell me that the booths are giving out free samples. I said I want PEOPLE food not DOG food.
