Touring The Sites
Today we went to see the Smithsonian Museum of American History. It was interesting but not as comprehensive as I expected. The two things I remember most were Kermit and the original Kermit muppet and Julia Child's kitchen since I had just seen the movie where they showed it. After that we went to Arlington Cemetery where it was freezing cold and the baby had a screaming fit. After that we had a lovely dinner at a diner. Love those family memories!

I loved seeing Julia Child's kitchen...and the museum.
We'll go back to Washington one day, we really loved it.
laura, I just saw the Julie and Julia movie or else I wouldn't have been as interested. It was one of the most crowded exhibits.
