It was so hot in my office this afternoon. The air conditioner cannot keep up when the temperature is over 100 outside. It was 107 today. I wanted to take a nap but instead amused myself with searching for dog food coupons. I thought I was on to one on the Purina website. I filled out the survey and put all my info and chose a password. When I got to the part where I was supposed to print the coupon, it said I had to download the coupon maker. I tried but my work computer blocked it. All that for nothing. Now I will have to hook up my old computer and try again. My little netbook doesn't have a printer so it is no help. How frustrating.
I haven't gone to the grocery store yet. I hope the dog food will last until Saturday. Since I don't park by the grocery store anymore, it's just not convenient after work. And don't worry, the dogs will not go hungry. I have an abundance of dog biscuits and canned food that I use to mix with their pills when they are sick. I just need more kibble.
It was cloudy this afternoon, a sure sign that the monsoon rains are just around the corner. One of the other things that I love about the summer rains, besides the water, is that the temperature cools off if only for an hour or so. It is such a nice break from the heat. Then the sun comes out and it gets horribly humid but that only lasts 6 weeks or so. Anything to break up the monotony of 107 will be greatly appreciated.
