Sniffles And Old Shoes

Let's see...good things about today. Well, the work day is over, for one. I am still trying to get over my cold and came very close to staying home from work. I probably should have but I have an office by myself and I don't come in contact with hardly anyone. If I am gone I just get a double work load the next day. I was able to muddle through most of the important stuff.

I took the dogs for a walk again. It is fun to be able to take all 3 for a walk. I hope they keep cooperating. Also, every time I go for a walk I am reminded that I need new walking shoes. I extended their life by buying inserts last year. Now they are completely trashed and the sole is peeling off. My knees are complaining too.

The weather was beautiful although a little windy. I guess it is going to rain for the next 3 days. That is so weird. It usually doesn't rain this late in April but then we have had drought conditions for so long I wouldn't know what "normal" weather was.

I'm hoping to take Friday off again if my boss agrees. I'll find out tomorrow. Hopefully, only one more day of work for me.
