Jumpstart On The Weekend

A half day of work and then it was off to Lowes. They didn't have the right kind of vinyl flooring so I ended up going to Home Depot too. I did get a nice window from Lowes though. I was able to get the big roll of vinyl stuffed into my parent's SUV with only a little bit of overhang.

We got it inside the mobile home and after all that my parents were still eager to start laying it out. It took a lot of shuffling because there isn't a lot of room to work but we managed to get it laid out. Next step, arrange the furniture in a useful way and tack down all the loose edges.

My parents were tired when they left and I am too. I sure hope they come back tomorrow. I still have drains and a window on my to-do list. The place is almost livable. Not quite but one step closer at least.

I hope you don't run out of energy before the projects for the weekend are finished. It's great to have help on projects. Good for you!!!

Over the Cubicle, they slide on it and the little dog has already peed on it 3 times. I hope I can secure the edges before they discover how much fun it would be to peel it off the floor in many many pieces.

Lizzie, it was a good start but today started at noon and tomorrow will probably be mostly relaxing. I need a whole week off to get it all done.

6kids4me, it is great to have help. As they say, extra hands make light work. After doing so much on my own having help is so much easier.
