Now that the new year is here it has occurred to me that I only have so many weekends left until Summer. Summer to me is June because that is usually the month when the A/C goes on and stays on until September. In order to get out of the RV and in to the mobile home I have a lot to do and only 20 more weekends! I need a goal for every weekend so that I know I can do this in time.
This weekend I finished my wall, at least enough to keep the dogs out. I only put one sheet of paneling on the wall because there will be plumbing thru the wall eventually. The only thing left to do is to finish the door latch so that I can close the door securely.
Next step is plumbing and that means I need to buy an RV water pump, pressure tank and instant hot water heater. Unfortunately, I don't have any money for those things so maybe I need to sell some stuff first. I don't like the idea of borrowing from the future sale of the RV but I might do it anyway. I am hoping that this whole mobile home make-over doesn't cost more than $2,000. So far the wall cost $150, the toilet $25 and the shower pan $60.
Getting water to the mobile home will be exciting. Then I'll get a piece of linoleum for the living room and plug in the old fridge, microwave 2-burner stove top and it will feel like home...oh, I forgot the wireless internet. Well, that's going to cost a little more but than it will really feel like home.

You sound like you are going to be very busy. I like the idea of breaking everything down into weekend projects.
Oh, and Summer is only 20 weeks away! Yes!
Only 20 weeks makes me panic a little. I probably shouldn't say that it was around 70 degrees today and I got so hot working in the sun that I had to go inside and drink a root beer float...so I won't mention that.
Why do you need a water pump? Is city water out of the question?
Good idea to break it down like this. You can really get some focus then. You wont know yourself with so much space.

ERE, I'm in the county and the nearest water co. got within 3 miles of me in 2006. There was a development planned much closer to me and I was hopeful but it tanked with the housing bust. My neighbors either have $35k wells, well shares, haul their water or have it delivered. I am the only one that I know of who uses rainwater primarily. Since I am trying to leave the RV and the water pump will go with it, I need a replacement pump.
Lizzie, I had better not slack off on any of these weekends. My punishment will be double air conditioning bills if I don't get things done in time.
