Shopping when bored is bad, shopping when hungry is bad, shopping to cheer oneself up is bad. All three together is downright dangerous! Ok, I only spent $84 which is a lot to some and nothing to others. I had the money in my budget so it wasn't a disaster. The problem is that I spent the money on fruit and dessert. Two things which are rapidly consumed and will require me to shop again soon. But until then I will enjoy my fruit and dessert and try not to eat it all at once. And yes, giant Ranier cherries and Mother's iced lemon cookies for dinner are doing a good job of cheering my up right now.
Mother's cookies was one of those family owned companies that succumbed to the rising food prices last year. They said they couldn't afford to stay in business with the high price of ingredients. Now the cookies are back because Kellogg bought them up. I am testing them to see if they taste the same. I bought lemon, oatmeal, taffy and double fudge for my taste test. I usually like the mixed bag of assorted but I didn't see them. Now I must get back to my research...mmmm.
Important research that also cheers you up is the best kind. Enjoy it!
I'd better stop researching before I get a stomach ache. :P
Yes. You wouldn't want to have to miss work tomorrow for being sick.
I'm not sure how I would explain that to my boss...research overdose?
